Eddie's take on it
Along with the larger and longer Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro, this is one of the best Sigma lenses you can buy for 4/3.
While the autofocus is pretty slow and doesn't seem very reliable, the manual focus experience is excellent, with the push-pull manual focus ring, and a hard stop at 1:1 macro.
If you want a longer telephoto macro than the 50mm f/2 (or must have 1:1 macro) and you can't find the Sigma 150mm f/2.8, this is a good in-between choice.
