Eddie's take on it
This lens delivers outstanding sharpness and fantastic image quality right from f/2.0, and this is one of the best Olympus lenses for 4/3. At 1,5kg, this lens is far more usable in the field and hand held than the other SHG telephotos, the much larger 300mm f/2.8 and 90-250mm f/2.8
Nicknamed "Small Tuna", this is the smaller, shorter version of the "Big Tuna" Olympus 300mm f/2.8 lens.
Since this is still a pretty expensive lens, chances are you will want to use it on a m4/3 camera. If you need the 150mm focal length, this is still better than all native m4/3 options, as there are still no f/2.0 telephotos for m4/3. Autofocus speed is not on par with newer m4/3 lenses, and it is also slower than the 50-200mm SWD.
An incredible piece of optics, this is already a collectable, and a pretty expensive one to boot.
