PMA 2009 News

News from PMA 2009 related to the 4/3 system, expect this page to be updated regularly between 02-24 through 03-05.

February 24th

PMA promises to be a great show this year. We still have a week to go, but Olympus today is annoucing a number of new products. The E-620 is in my opinion the right camera with the right size at the right price. From a early preproduction body that I have used, this is the camera that the E-30 should have been. Our full preview is located here.

Olympus also is annoucing today a underwater housing for the E-620, and 3 new flash brackets located here.

Mor info is on the Olympus website.

March 1st

Acratech announces many new products, including a ballhead, Universal L Bracket, Viewing angle guage, and a dedicated plate for the G-1. Full on going coverage here.

Olympus in Space? Of course who else would it be.

March 3rd

I had the brief chance to play with the GH1 at PMA. Because the camera is mostly the same as the G1, I spent my brief time with the video functions on the GH1.

Also news from LensBaby and Nik Software.
