E-30 Creative Art FiltersIf you are a Jpeg shooter, and want a very nice B&W image, or soft focus image, than the E-30 is quite unique in this manner. The creative filters do an excellent job. We have to remember that this is a version 1 product. The biggest problems with the creative filters are that they permanently save your jpeg's as those filters and some of them are quite slow in rendering the effects (the worst being the pinhole filter which takes approximately 7 seconds to apply the filter on the camera). And while that is taking place, the camera reads "Busy" and you are unable to take any additional photos during that time. The greatest advantage I can see of the Art filters is that just as in traditional film photography (in which you would use a soft filter) or a specific film on a camera, the camera properly exposes for this criteria which does have many advantages over post processing the effects. Plus I have a soft spot in my heart for getting it right in camera, and the Creative art filters do that well.
