Creative Art Filters and Scene Mode

Olympus E-P1 camera controls
The camera allows for full manual mode, with 2 control wheels. A very nice layout in my opinion.

With the E-30 and E-620 Olympus introduced to the world Creative Art Filters. I have to say that I had some reservations about placing them on a high end SLR. But in my opinion on a consumer grade camera such as the E-P1 is a perfect fit. I am very excited about this camera, and having scene modes and art filters really are icing on the cake with this product.

The camera even allows you to easily shoot full manual mode, Aperture, Shutter, and Program modes. Also there is the IA mode which stands for Intellegent Auto mode and will automatically select a variety of scene modes such as portrait and night shooting automatically. All in all a very high quality camera. For any user. The filters and scene modes can be applied in playback, in which the original file will not be touched, if shot in Raw.

New Effect: e-Portrait: Smoothes Skin

ePortriat Mode
The new e-Portrait seeks to make perfect portriats straight out of the camera. It reduces the file to 5 MP, and smoothes the skin on upto 8 faces in one image.
