G1- Image samples

At the very basic level the G1 and the E-30 share the same basic sensor, but are geared towards different audiences, and needs. So I have put together a little image comparision. You can click on any image for a larger picture in a new window, also you can change XL to O.jpg to see images at 100%.
Panasonic G1 Olympus E-30

Looks like a little bit of wind is blowing in this reflection

(Camera is level but the bridge isn't)

The G-1 saved the highlights, but you lost most of the detail, where as the E-30 blew out some highlights but you have much more shadow content.

A few more samples from the G1

-I think I slightly prefer these low ISO jpeg's from the G1 over the E-30 in terms of colors and contrast. I do prefer the E-30 for dynamic range (But it seems to be missing strong blacks). Though you can do a lot with Jpeg's in camera with a personal prefrence such as this. But in reality if it was a blind test I doubt that I would see much difference.
