Tony's Thoughts -

I have been playing with this camera for about a week now, and here are my early thoughts. First the questions always come up should I upgrade? In my opinion, if you really want these particular filters, then go for it. But I would not upgrade from the E-420 to purchase a E-450. If I was shooting a E-410 or older camera, I would say its about time.

The E-450 camera offers many advantages over other SLR's on the market. First is the small body which means that at least for me I am more likely to have it with me. Second, is the lenses, even the inexpensive lenses are better than anything else the competition offers in the same class. I personally prefer this body style, over the E-5x0 style body, but I think that if you can swing the extra money, and don't mind a slightly larger camera, the E-620 will be a better camera dollar for dollar.

You will notice that the E-420 and E-450 look almost identical, except for where on the top dial you select Scene/Art Filters. -Which is a better location in my opinion.
